Hockey Fights Cancer Event

“The Cap City Cougars Girls Varsity Hockey Team is using JustFundraising to help raise money for their season. The team will be participating in the Hockey Fights Cancer event on December 1st and has purchased new commemorative jerseys for the event that they’ll wear once each season to promote awareness and raise funds for breast cancer research. A portion of the proceeds from the cookie dough sale will be donated directly to charity with the remaining funds used to cover the costs of the jerseys and support other team needs. Like many teams, breast cancer has directly affected our families and our team is trying to do its part to help fight this awful disease. Attached please find a picture of last year’s team at the state championship game. The girls “pinked” the rink that day in support of Coach Jeff’s wife who had just been diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer.”
