“Our 11-year-old daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy which we believe was caused by the traumatic death of her papa being struck by a drugged driver in 2016. This year she went to an epilepsy support group where she overcame a fear of talking about her epilepsy. A couple days later we participated in our first Epilepsy Awareness Walk were she was able to see just how many people are affected by the neurological disease. We held 4th place in donations for a while but were ultimately passed by a young boys team. NaKiyah wanted to get a head start on next years donations and people donate easier when they are getting something in return, so we decided on your candy bar fundraiser. In 24 hours she has already sold $70 in candy bars!”
